As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be a strategic business partner in commercial contracting, negotiating and entering into agreements with the sales department, purchasing support, providing strategic and operational advice to senior management. Together with the General Counsel, you are responsible for the continuous legal improvement of processes and procedures. Marco Roeleveld (Managing Director) Marco Roeleveld (born 1962 in the Netherlands) is CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and Chief Operating Officer (Chief Operating Officer) of Alfen. Marco has been a member of the Management Board since the company was founded in November 2015. He joined Alfen B.V.

in 1997 as Managing Director. Prior to joining Alfen, Marco was Commercial Director of Hitec Power Protection in the Netherlands. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Willem Ackermans Willem Ackermans (born 1956) is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Netherlands. He has worked in various industries and for various companies in financial positions: he started at Royal Boskalis and KPN. From 2002, he started working in the energy sector at Nuon and later became CFO of the American company ET Communications. After returning to the Netherlands, he worked for Eneco for more than a decade in various financial positions, in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy. In 2017, he left Eneco to pursue his career as an independent consultant advising large companies on financial and strategic sustainability issues. He is currently a consultant for a large photovoltaic and wind energy module project.

He is also a member of the investment committee of two companies in the field of sustainable energy development: the Frisian company FSFE and the Brabant company BOM. Willem Ackermans holds an engineering degree from TU Delft. Alfen occupies a leading position in the Dutch market and is experiencing rapid international growth. In the last 5 years, Alfen has quadrupled and there are also growth ambitions for the coming years. Today, the company employs around 800 people in the Netherlands and 100 abroad. Lukas Alfen received his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2019. At Emory, Lukas was named a Judge John Paul Stevens Public Interest Fellow in 2018 and graduated as a recipient of the university`s Pro Bono Publico Medal. Prior to law school, Lukas graduated summa laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Syracuse University and spent two years as a body member at Teach for America in Memphis, Tennessee. While in Memphis, Lukas developed a passion for advocacy work that led him to pursue several internships while studying at Emory University.

As a student, Lukas gained experience during an internship at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, the Georgia Justice Project, the Department of Justice, the Department of Education, and the Barton Child Law and Policy Center. In addition, Lukas began his career at Garland, Samuel & Loeb as a part-time law student in 2017. Eline Oudenbroek Eline Oudenbroek (born 1971 in Dutch) is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Netherlands. She is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Tauw Group. Eline Oudenbroek has worked for 25 years in the international manufacturing industry with a wide range of different products as Managing Director and in other different roles. She has also worked for private investors and business owners and, as Managing Director, was responsible for the healthy and sustainable growth of these companies. Eline Oudenbroek`s current position is VP Operations EMEA at Interface Inc., a NASDAQ-listed flooring company. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Alfen is a listed company of Euronext Amsterdam. With a history of 85 years, Alfen designs, develops and manufactures substations, energy storage systems and chargers for electric vehicles. The company is best known for its electric vehicle chargers, but with its diverse portfolio of products and services, Alfen plays a central role in the energy transition. Lukas plans to take the Georgia bar exam in the summer of 2019.

After being called to the Bar in Georgia, Lukas will be a partner of Garland, Samuel and Loeb, P.C. Lukas Alfen received his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2019. Henk ten Hove (Chairman) Mr Henk ten Hove (born 1952, Dutch) is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Alfen. Henk ten Hove has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of the listed company Kendrion (as Chairman) since 2013 and of Unica since 2014. In addition, he is Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Zwolle Region (which ends on 1 April 2018). He is also president of the foundation that owns the shares of the BDR Thermea group. Henk ten Hove spent most of his career at Wavin, where he started in 1982 and held various positions over time, including Chief Financial Officer, Logistics Director, Managing Director Germany, member of the Board of Directors and between 2010 and 2013 as Group CEO. Henk ten Hove holds a Master`s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Alfens` substations power millions of homes and businesses, while thousands of electric vehicles use business charging stations every day. The Alfen energy storage system is used for applications such as load balancing, energy trading, frequency control and the creation of autonomous power grids in combination with solar or wind energy. Due to this accelerated growth of Alfen, we are currently seeking Senior Legal Counsel (with the aim of becoming Deputy General Counsel) to strengthen the compact legal team (3 FTEs) at the company`s headquarters in Almere. Michelle Lesh (CCO) Michelle Lesh (b. 1978, American) has been CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) of Alfen since July 2021 and a member of the Executive Board since April 2022. Prior to joining Alfen, she was Chief Commercial Officer of GE Digital`s Grid Software business, which supports electric utilities worldwide. Previously, she held various commercial positions at General Electric in the areas of power generation and grid infrastructure.
